Cockpit |
The main flight-centre of the ship and also housing the passenger entry ramp into the vessel. The controls have been heavily upgraded over the years to now include some holographic displays alongside the analogue buttons and levers. While the ship can be manned by a single pilot, there is a co-pilot seat as well as two other passenger/flight assistant chairs. Adjacent to the cockpit is the Navicomputer and the Pilot's cabin. |
Navicomputer |
This small room adjacent to the cockpit holds the navicomputer, a supercomputer used to calculate the immensely complicated hyperspace jumps needed for trans-system travel. When not performing other functions around the vessel, this is where the ship's droid can be found. |
Cabin(s) |
The central corridor houses six small, utilitarian passenger cabins, with a single bed and narrow desk space. The captain/pilot has their own cabin adjacent to the cockpit. |
Recreation Room/Galley |
This recreational area also functions as a galley by way of a small kitchenette and is the largest area on the ship. There is a large communal table and chairs as well as two smaller diner sofas at the rear, one of which sports a holo-games table. Two refreshers are accessible from this room. |
Engine Room |
There are two engine rooms on the ship, each containing the control unit for the port and starboard thrusters. The grated flooring reveals the series of crawlspaces beneath the ship and can be used as additional storage if needed or as a hiding place. Like the cargo bays on the ship, there is an external access panel in this room for loading parts. |
Refresher(s) |
These small rooms house basic sanitation functions, including a sonic sink and shower as well as a toilet. The whole unit is self-cleaning on a regular schedule. There are two refreshers on the ship, both accessible via the Recreation room. |
Strategy Room |
This cargo hold has been converted into a strategy room, housing a large holoprojector that can be used for secure communications across the entire HoloNet as well as other channels. It can also display data, such as galactic and local maps. There is a tactical console in the room that is used for securely encrypting and decrypting outbound and inbound data. |
Cargo Bay |
This cargo bay has been left unchanged and is used for storage, particularly of larger items such as transport. |
Workshop/Armoury |
This cargo hold was converted by the Mandalorian Sev Rezer to act as a workshop and armoury to house and repair weapon and armour, largely for himself but could also be turned to lightsaber or droid repair as required. |
Vault |
Built to order following Thane and Bomoor's acquisition of the kaiburr shard they seized during the fateful Battle of Jericho, the Vault aboard the Red Raptor was constructed to bespoke specifications by independent fabricators, experts within their fields. Funded through Thane's previously-untapped Caanan accounts, operating under his Sith pseudonym, Serus, the Vault's structure is forged from the lightest and most durable materials available on the market, barely legal in even military circles. Impervious to most sensors and reinforced around its perimeter and heavy-duty vacuum-sealed door, the Vault is a marvel of modern engineering - a stark contrast to the rest of the Raptor's more modest aesthetics. |
Training Room |
This converted cargo-hold has been cleared and a large training mat has been laid out across the centre of the room. A dummy and other equipment, such as training remotes have been placed inside. The room is used for sparring sessions and meditation, mostly by the Force-using members of the crew. |
Medical Bay/Laboratory |
This medical bay is designed to be automated, including a projector for a holographic 21B-H model medical interface (nicknamed "Useless" by the prevoius crew's doctor), which can advise on treatment and interface with the integrated equipment in the room. The room was upgraded by Morgo Le'Shaad to include limited, although advanced research and analysis equipment, giving it a dual purpose as a makeshift laboratory. |
