Path of the Archon: The War of Action

From the knowledge contained within the Annulus of Darth Archonus relayed to Amare following the events of Chapter V: Unbound:

War...

...War is necessary for the growth of life. It is the prime motivator for sentients to adapt; to innovate; to form creeds and alliances; and to survive so that what is gained can be passed on to our descendants with the goal that they may be better prepared for the cycle of conflict to begin anew.

The first war waged within the spirit of an evolving Sith is action, and this you have accomplished decisively. Though you failed in your personal attempt to achieve victory on Korriban, you nevertheless found it within yourself to boldly step forward with weapon in hand and attacked your enemies with the lust of blood in your heart.

To have done otherwise is apathy, an act within itself, yes, but not the mark of a true Sith. Remember, 'peace is a lie', and thus it can be said that peace is apathetic. Always act. You cannot win a war if you stand by idly and obstinately refuse to get involved. That is the way of the Jedi. That is the way of cowards that allow good people to die.

Now that you have survived the birthplace of the Sith and experienced its harsh lessons on life, you have indeed taken your first step into a much larger world within the Force. With your wounds and exposure to the power of the dark side, your potential has grown, but you still have much training to complete. Heed the guidance of your master, and take the fortunes given to you by the Force without hesitation. In time, if you manage to avoid getting yourself killed, you may find yourself capable of feats you could never have previously imagined. You may think yourself a weak girl in the face of larger and much more powerful foes, but even the slender delicate arm of a woman can easily best the most corded of muscles if she applies the Force with wisdom and relentless precision. I dare say, with sufficient knowledge and training, she could even best much, much more than that.

Know this, and remember it well: Your place as apprentice to a Sith Lord, however inexperienced he may be, is to obey his will without question, but there are times you must fearlessly and confidently rely upon your own judgment when you face the imperative to act. That is the lesson that sets the foundation for the means to fight in all future wars to come. To know when to act and how to act is expected of all apprentices, but to achieve victory and gain greater power in the process are the signs of a Sith Lord...nay, more than that...a Darth.

Understand as you go forth with the dark side's power in your grasp that the war of action, or any wars within, never ends. Each conflict builds upon the next conflict. When you have mastered these battles in your mind, the chaos that chastens your full power will be controlled; order shall quell that chaos, and you shall claim your true strength. Your trials on Lorrd and your ordeals on Korriban shall forever remain as reminders that one war always leads to another war. Do not let these nuggets of truth paralyse you with despair; embrace them. The more you accept the dark side, the more it shall reward you with the power and resolve to assure success in your actions, and survival in your failures...and there will be failures, trust me. Failure is inevitable, and it can be beneficial to those who are wise, but that is a lesson for another time.

Are you ready to act again, my child? Yes? Good. Then go, apprentice, and do what must be done.
