Chapter: Chapter I: Web of Fate
Location: Hyperspace, Deep Void between Galaxies
Timeline: 4 months prior to current events

Lavender luminous eyes opened the merest crack to behold the whirling tunnel of hyperspace. The alluring song it produced as the energies of the dimensions resonated along the length of its shell had been its lullaby for such a long time; it almost couldn’t remember the beginning of the journey it was currently under.

It had roused for some reason and it stared into the distant black spot as its mind moved sluggishly, slowly turning to the why of its waking and moving towards greater awareness. It took some time, a term meaningless in the whirling of hyperspace, and yet it was dimly aware and amused by the fact. Eventually it realized it was ‘close’, also a term of relative value in hyperspace.

The edge of the galaxy it had been aiming for was close enough it could sense the flavor of it. And also the leading edge of the mass-wake after the seeming eons it had passed in the vastness of the Deep Void.

Trusting instincts and subconscious senses and decision-making processes, the slits closed once again and it slid back into the interminable darkness of slumber once again, its vital mission soon to be realized after the first leg of it was completed.
