Physical Description		Berry has shoulder-length black hair which frequently collects things from her travels into the plant life if she forgets to cover it with a square piece of cloth. Her eyes are large and bright, frequently crinkled in laughter or widened in surprise. Her lips, when not smiling, always hide one. Her stature is slim but solid from living in the wild, and she is very fit for a near-Human her age. She has a large, thick scar running across her chest, the wound so deep it could not heal by itself with her Firrerreon genes. She does not possess the green/blue skin or hair like an Aquar, nor the gills slits for a nose or webbed digits. Her skin is a mix between the golden hue of her Firrerreon ancestors and the current Aquar green, making it a light green-yellow that can be barely seen. Her skin also glimmers silver during high emotion, but barely. As such, she is horrible at space poker and games of that nature.
Form of Dress		Berry wears brightly colored tunics with loose pants. There was no point in disguising herself in the mountain jungles. She wears hiking sandals that can be made heelstrap-less and more flippy-floppy. She wears a supply belt with many, many pockets. She likes to attach loose small objects to herself as a form of decoration. She always wears a blue necklace with beads made from the shells of the ocean she was born in. It was given to her by her departing mentor. She can dress more femininely in the traditional sense, but never has any cause to do so.

Personality & Traits

General Overview		Berry is a very optimistic, usually unrealistic person. Her curiosity is the driving force to her life, as well as the indirect cause for her survival abilities. She is easily amused, and is pretty oblivious. However, her instincts kick in when she is in the wild and around bad people. This may or not be Force related. She is utterly fascinated by people and wants to help everyone she meets. Her willpower is immense, and sometimes a glimmer of wisdom can be hinted at, although if you blink you’ll miss it. Her philosophies in a few nutshells: Everyone starts with a clean slate (unless they smell funny). Live and let live. The innocent must be protected. Honor is all one has in the world. Have fun, and live simply without regrets.
Strengths & Weaknesses		Berry’s curiosity knows no bounds. Living on a mostly sheltered planet has left her yearning for more. This has made her quite a pest to offworlders, who are also rare. She also has a strong sense of family, considering her close friends as such. She will do anything to protect them as well as even strangers in need of help, risking her life in her many travels to the oceanic depths. Her huge sense of optimism is seen more as happy-go-lucky, with her sunny disposition rarely being clouded over. This may be due to her extreme obliviousness, which can be seen as naiveté. However, she embraces everything around her and is very easily amused, which can make her quite mischievous. This cheerfulness helps in easing the annoyance for some people she subjects this kind of behavior with, as she extends it to everyone without a qualm. She has only been serious a handful of times in her short life. Her willpower is also phenomenal, reaching levels of almost sheer stupidity when it comes to it. She would have died several times if it weren’t for strange forces preventing her death. It shouldn’t come as a surprise that she has no sense of self-consciousness, and only has good hygiene because of force of habit. She also is very hyperactive and easily distracted, something that helps in combat but is crippling when she is forced to control herself. Her main weaknesses are her impulsiveness/rashness and stubbornness. This makes her seem very childish. Whatever she feels like doing or saying, she will. This mainly comes from unrestrained instinct, which saved her life multiple times in the jungle and altercations. Her stubbornness plays a role after impulsivity sets in. When she sets her mind to something, it takes very much to sway her from it—or maybe just a few words, depending on her whims. Her obliviousness can also make her seem very stupid, but it is unsure if this is an act or she really is that dumb.
Ambitions		Berry wants to explore everything and find the hidden treasure in the Line of Chaos. She also wants to help everyone she meets. She also has a list of things she wants to do.
Interests and Hobbies		Berry loves climbing and being with nature. Her thoughts always settle among a planet’s flora and fauna. This may be a sign of her sensing living Force around her, but she always feels refreshed and calm after a long stroll. She also loves to eat greens and fish and almost anything her stomach she can handle. She is interested in everything.

Fighting Style		Lots of punching and kicking. Very acrobatic…perhaps Force-fueled. Her team mates notice a breaking point where she is extremely competent, which is always surprising.
Notable Abilities		Berry’s curiosity is her biggest strength and biggest weakness. She will travel for hours in the mountain jungle in search for the perfect beetle, or just to look. What makes it her weakness is her extremely poor sense of direction, having her lost in the jungle for another few more hours. As such, her survival abilities are very high, and she is very durable. Physically, Berry is extremely agile when it comes to approaching her environment. With the jungle being random, she can climb, leap, and traverse very well. Swimming she does extremely well as a near-Human, being able to hold her breath for a long time. However, her abilities are below average when compared to an Aquar. She cannot breath underwater and she wrinkles when she is in the water for too long. She also is a very good at fist fights, somehow speedily impacting opposing Aquar while underwater despite the resistance of water. This makes her quite formidable on land. She has some self-healing abilities from her Firrerreon ancestors, making her very hardy. This proved useful when she broke her arm during a bacta shortage in her youth. Coupled with a very difficult Velusian bird herding, Berry had to be back in action for the season—and was.

History

Bería "Berry" Z. Fieros was born on Velusia, a planet mostly comprised of salty oceans. What little land masses it had were the tops of volcanoes poking out above the blue water around the equator. To understand Berry’s background, a quick peek into the planet’s past will be helpful.

Humans settled on Velusia and evolved to adapt, becoming the near-Human Aquar. They lived a simple life, fishing the great oceans, farming them, and even having herds on the volcanic islands. Earthquakes were many, and so the Aquar lived on the continental shelf underwater, right by the islands where the sunlight was the strongest. The electromagnetic signals from the islands discouraged use of technology, and navigational systems were rudimentary. Their only starport was located at their capital, but they did not leave their planet.

Unbeknownst to the simple people, their oceans were rich in suspended ores. A mining corporation discovered them and began harvesting them without the Aquar’s knowledge, eventually making them help. During the Rebellion Era, the Galactic Empire even reaped from the oceans, and in 7 ABY, the Yuzhan Vong took their turn as the conquerors of Velusia. When that ended, Velusia’s oceans were almost ruined from mining, and the next few hundred years were spent trying to stabilize their once pure waters. Around this time some Firrerreons liberated by Princess Leia Organa settled on what they hoped to be a peaceful planet. (Years before one of their own actually released a plague on their planet to prove his worth, and the survivors had to be put in suspended animation).

A thousand years later, the Aquar were still attempting peace, but after the various shakeups years ago, the government body had changed. Resentment has simmered in the dark depths of the oceans where mining was heaviest. Gangs prowl the oceans looking to plunder fishing vessels to sell the fish for their own. The counterforce organized by the Aquar are fierce but outnumbered, and sometimes the people struggle to make ends meet for their planet. They used to be subsistent farmers and resisted relying on technology. Their revulsion to all things non-natural stemmed from their treatment by the mining corporation. But the increased efficiency of using such mechanics for fishing has increased the need for profit to support the maintaining of their technology. Before, survival was the only priority.

As for the Firrerreons, they bred openly with the Aquar but never lost their fierce independence. The clan of a few thousand has been renowned in Velusia for being wary of individuals with too much power, as well as their love for family. This strain of outsiders introduced a new fire into the aquatic people, and the planet was slowly stirring.

Berry was born at such a time, in a small underwater village at the base of a large volcanic island. She was quickly relocated to land when it became immediately apparent she did not possess any Aquar traits, instead expressing Firrerreon traits. For most of her life she never knew her parents, instead being raised by her grandfather (a member of the world government marines) and Dondon, her foster father. She was raised along with her older sister Asidra, who expressed more Aquar traits.

As a child Berry, frequently spent time with the noble pirates led by Khans, an Aquar woman who had made Berry’s village her home base. She became her mentor, teaching the young rash child self-discipline, honor, and even protecting her during a bandit attack of the village. Khans also told the young Berry many stories of her oceanic travels, including the legend of a great Aquar man who hid a secret along the Line of Chaos. Before he was executed by the World Government for breaking several rules, he spoke of how the secret would bring power to those who found it. World-wide, the restless youth sprung into action, Khans included, and assembled their own fleets and teams to find it.

When the government found out about Khans’ base, the woman made her final farewell to Berry. Berry and Asidra were obsessed with becoming adventurers, prompting their not-so-into-government grandfather to dump them in the volcanic island’s jungle for training.

As they came of age, Asidra left the village to train herself for the Line of Chaos, leaving Berry behind to defend the village and herd the animals through storms and earthquakes. Soon, it was her turn to leave, and she departed into the blue ocean with nothing. Luckily, she ran into several people that she somehow convinced into being part of her crew.

They had many adventures and escapades, but Berry found herself faced with the reality of the world after a horrible defeat that included the loss of her beloved sister. Wanting to become stronger, the crew was mysteriously forced to disband, each to train his or herself until their reunion. It was then that Berry decided to leave the planet and explore, hopefully finding what she needed to protect her family and friends. It is unknown if the world government will extend their bounty to galactic space...
